ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Ellie Shepherdson

I studied BA Fine Art and Curating at Manchester Metropolitan University from 2018-21 and I am passionate about making contemporary art accessible to the public. I love contemporary art but I am aware of the negative perceptions around it's creation and presentation. I also make work myself with a range of mixed media; typically investigating biology, human condition, femininity, nature and mental health. I will updating below images of my work.

Functioning as both an artist and a curator I have experienced both sides to the production of an exhibition. I want to make artists I work with feel supported and free to communicate what they want to say about their work and their personalities to lead to better understanding of artwork they create.

But I am not just about art, I have so many other interests, including here riding, sustainability, dogs, hiking, health and exercise!
